What you Need to Know about Library Service Right Now

Hours

Quick Visit Hours  (Doors open for book/DVD needs & computer use; We recommend you keep your visits to one hour or less.)

  • Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 10:00am to 4:00pm
  • Tuesday/Thursday: 1:00pm to 7:00pm
  • Saturday: 10:00am to 2:00pm

Park & Pickup Service (Delivery to your Vehicle)

  • Monday-Thursday: 10:00am to 7:00pm
  • Friday and Saturday: 10:00am to 5:00pm

Safety Precautions

Here is a list of the steps we’ve taken to allow us to open, stay open, and keep everyone safe. We appreciate your cooperation!

  • We are committed to the safety and health of our patrons, staff and volunteers.
  • If you are feeling unwell, please postpone your visit.
  • Staff, volunteers and patrons are required to wear face masks/coverings covering the mouth AND nose to enter the library.
  • If you have a health issue, please call us or ask to speak with one of our librarians for additional options in using the library.
  • Social distancing for staff, volunteers, and patrons is required.
  • Sneeze guards have been installed at all service desks. Sanitizer is available  throughout the library.
  • The library reserves the right to limit the capacity and time spent using the library during this unprecedented time.
  • Please eat before visiting the library.

Visiting the Library–What You Can Do!

  • Browse materials, make selections, check out.
  • Reserve materials online and stop in when they are ready.
  • Stop in, call, or email us for reference help.
  • Stop in to print, fax, copy or scan.
  • Use the self-checkout machines to limit contact.

Computer Use

  • Computers are available for public use. They are cleaned between each patron. Please only go to a computer station that is marked “Cleaned”.
  • Masks are REQUIRED to sit at a computer station. Please keep your mouth AND nose covered to protect it for the next person.
  • We recommend one-hour use. Maximum time on a computer is two hours.
  • Log-in with your library card. (Guest passes are available for one-time use only for those who do not bring their library cards.)
  • Staff will assist as able (while following social distancing protocol.)

Visiting the Library–What’s Not Available

  • Toys and imaginative play items have been stored.
  • Seating is limited to encourage short-term visits.
  • Please eat before visiting the library.
  • Our book-a-librarian program is not available at this time.
  • In-library programming, community meetings or meeting rooms are not available at this time.

Library Materials

  • Browsing is available, but please use hand sanitizer or wash your hands prior to handling the materials.
  • Please return LIBRARY materials to our book drop OUTSIDE the library.
  • Items will be quarantined for 96 hours and cleaned. As a result, items will show on your account for up to a week after you return them.
  • No fines will be charged through the end of the year.
  • County-wide delivery may be delayed due to quarantine restrictions and budget reductions.
  • We gratefully accept financial donations to offset COVID19 costs and budget reductions via credit card or our donation jar.

Donations

  • We continue to accept donations. Books, DVDs, CDs, puzzles & games are welcome.
  • We cannot accept VHS tapes, magazines, textbooks.
  • All donations are subject to quarantine restrictions.
