Offerings for Adults & Seniors

“Libraries have moved far beyond just being book repositories. They’re agile institutions serving real-life needs. Libraries can be key to powering progress and elevating the quality of life in PA by fueling the types of knowledge essential to success: Basic Literacy, Information Literacy, Civic and Social Literacy, Health Literacy, and Financial Literacy.”

Shaler North Hills Library (SNHL) has always been a community center, reaching out to our patrons through services and programs. At this time we reach out to you through online services and virtual activities. We will still be here for you when things change and we look forward to seeing you in the library again.

For now, visit THIS PAGE to find out how to stay connected to us from home.

When we return…

SNHL offers many programs and services for adults and seniors.  The library offers presentations by local experts from help with legal issues to nature studies. We host art sessions, poetry forums, community art exhibits, and local author talks. We have social groups from the Card Club to Knitters & Crochet groups to Rummikub game night.

Be sure to read Check It Out, the library’s monthly newsletter for more information, visit the calendar of events located in the right column of the front page of the website or select a tab in the drop down menu above for more details.
