Ukrainian Egg Art Class–Make Your Own Egg! June 13 & 20

In this hands-on class, students create their own Ukrainian eggs with one-on-one coaching. In the course of learning the proper tools and techniques, we also cover the cultural history including the meaning of the different colors and symbols.

For 50+ years, Marilan (Hovanec) Caito has presented demonstrations and taught hands-on classes in the art of
“Pysanky” at Community College, community centers, libraries, and numerous senior residences.

  • Students must be at least 18 yrs of age. No prior art skill needed.
  • Must be available to attend TWO SESSIONS–one week apart.
  • Registration required. STRICT LIMIT of 12 students per class. DEADLINE TO REGISTER: JUNE 1
  • Pre-Payment of $36.00 includes complete kit of supplies, instruction pamphlet and instructor fee.
  • No refunds after supplies are purchased. You may pick up the kit & instruction booklet if you fail to attend.

Note! If you wish to pay by cash, check or credit card in person–your registration spot is NOT HELD until payment is received. You may come in to the Library to pay but should do so within a day of registering to be sure your spot is still available.
