PA Voting Information 2020–Primary Date, Polling Place, Mail-In Ballot Information

Polling Places Consolidated

The Elections Division today issued the full list of consolidated polling place locations for the Tuesday, June 2 primary election. Additionally, households with eligible voters will receive a postcard prior to Election Day advising of their specific polling place location.

As determined by the Board of Elections, while there is one location listed, sites may include multiple polling places within that location so that physical distancing and other mitigation measures may be followed on Election Day. Mail-In Ballot Applications will be Mailed to Residents

Allegheny County will send mail-in ballot applications to every registered voter in the county who hasn’t already applied for one, officials announced Friday. You can read more at this LINK.

PA Voters can now request a Mail-In Ballot so that they may vote from home. You do not need a special reason to request a Mail-In Ballot. You MUST, though, apply for the Mail-In Ballot by May 26.

In Pennsylvania, you now have two options for mail ballots. You may either choose a mail-in ballot or an absentee ballot to request, complete, and return to your county election office. To determine which ballot is right for you, please go to this SITE. Note that you do NOT have to have a special reason to request a Mail-In Ballot. Absentee and mail-in ballot applications for the primary election must be received by the county election office by Tuesday, May 26. If a voter has already applied for an absentee or mail-in ballot, they do NOT need to reapply. Polls are open on election day from 7 A.M. to 8 P.M.

Important Dates

PA Primary Election is June 2, 2020.

Last day to register to vote in the general election is: October 19, 2020.

The deadline to register to vote is now 15 days prior to an election, rather than 30 days.
