2020 Census–Complete Online or by Phone; New Deadline: September 30!

Who is required to respond? Everyone living in the 50 states, District of Columbia, and five U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands) is required by law to be counted in the 2020 Census.

The Census site is now open. Once you receive your postcard in the mail, you are encouraged to complete the Census online. The postcard will have a ‘code’ to enter or you can use your home address.

If you prefer to complete by phone: 844-330-3030 (English). Available in 13 languages. Check the Census website or ask us for other phone numbers.

Completing the Census yourself (online, by phone, or in-person) will avoid having a Census worker come to your house.
