March 20, 6:30pm: Join Yoga instructor Abby Ritter from the Village Center for Holistic Therapy for an introduction to yoga. Class is limited to 15 participants. Please register online or by calling the library at 412-486-0211. Bring a yoga mat, towel and water. Wear Loose clothing.
March 23, 6:30pm: Join Michelle Mikels, LCSW and other experts from the UPMC Eating Disorders Clinic in a comfortable and safe atmosphere to talk about eating disorder diagnoses, body image, prevention and recognition. Please register.
New Support Group: My Weight is Really Weighing on Me! Facilitated by librarian Ingrid Kalchthaler, this group will share tips for feeding a family in healthy and cost-saving ways, how to put more movement into your life, to benefit not only your heart and waisteline but your mind and spirit as well. Come and share your story, the struggles and successes. The first six week session will be held on Wednesdays: March 22 and 29 and April 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 7PM to 7:45PM. (Note date change 3/5/17)
