The Board of Directors of the Shaler North Hills Library prohibits any person/s from conducting private/commercial business anywhere in the Library with the exception of the designated meeting room spaces. These meeting spaces may be rented according to the meeting room policy. Private business includes but is not limited to: paid tutors, Internet business, presentation to client for paid services, and any other private/commercial business.
In accordance with our Private/Commercial Business Policy and our Meeting Room Policy the Board of Directors is offering an accommodation for Private Tutors using the Shaler North Hills Library.
Tutors accepting payment for their services may rent a meeting room of $5.00 for 2 hours. Maximum use per day is 4 hours for a total of $10.00. Three rooms are available for rental:
To rent tutoring space a person must fill out a meeting room form with dates, times and payment for rental. Forms are available at the Library. First come, first served. Upon payment, the Library will reserve a room on the main desk Calendar. Rooms may be reserved on a weekly basis, up to one month in advance. One week's notice is required for cancellation in order to receive a refund of the fee.
